La maison aux Trois Visages

The house with the "Three faces" was built with the XV° century. Its frontage consists of a decoration in wood sides and is typical of the Middle Ages. It shows three differently directed pinion walls. This house is arranged to contain at the origin of the different residences.

Très bon choix le noir & blanc en photos d'architecture. Celle-là est excellente. Tu as sans doute utilisé un trés grand angulaire (10, 12, 18?).
By the way, "pignon" je crois bien que c'est "gable" isn't it?
Interesting architecture! I bet it's been quite a challenge at that time to build a house with three "pignons"...

Effectivement, j'ai utilisé un grand angle (de 18), var il n'y a quasiment pas de recul.
Tu as raison, c'est bien gable... mes notions d'anglais sont à revoir!!

I believe that that is not done nowadays any more, except to renovate some masonries damaged by time.
